The School of Online Studies was founded five years ago by John Hutton and Susan Lane

Both were teachers of English and  teacher trainers at the time and were aware of the problems that many learners had in fitting in English classes with their work and family commitments.

They also understood how the growth of the internet would open up opportunities that would allow learners to enjoy complete flexibility and control in deciding what they want to study and when

The mission of the School of Online studies is to provide the highest quality tuition at value for money fees.

We aim to employ only native speakers of English who can demonstrate that they can teach to the highest standards with a patient and caring approach to bringing out the very best in each student

We offer both private 1-1 and group lessons

As well as general English our programs also include preparing students for public exams such as IELTS and the Cambridge board examinations

We also offer English for Business and can arrange a course of study in many other specialist fields of English

The main focus for most students is to improve their spoken English and their grammar

However, we can also help you improve your listening skills and your ability to read and write in English if you require this

We firmly believe that every student who studies with us has the potential to develop a very good level of spoken and written English
